Barkot

“India ( भारत )” a land of religious values and historical achievements is today first choice for foreign visitors. In this short note I am going to discuss one of the best tourist attraction located in Uttarkashi region of India known as Barkot.  This amazing spot is 1,220 meters above from the sea level comes under Uttarakhand state. It is the famous location of north-east India.

(If you have heard about the Char Dham Yatra of India then you might know about the Barkot place).

Its just 49 kms away from Yamunotri Dham. You can view the Bander Poonch hill and other hill areas from the Barkot. Experts suggest this place as most exciting and adventurous for nature lovers. if you like trekking then Barkot could be the first choice for you, just go through the mentioned tourist spots of the city.

The gushing water of Yamuna River flows in huge speed. However, you will get the areas where you can swim in Yamuna water but remember one thing the temperature of Barkot is also low. For my Indian brothers and sister a short description is present in Hindi language.

Nature lovers are reaching this spot regularly so if you are the one who missed or yet not visited the Barkot city then you must plan your holidays to this spot. Reaching Barkot between April to November is preferred by the experts. You can enjoy the Snowfall in winter season however its not easy to spend time at Barkot due to high windy temperature. You must carry the worm clothes if you are visiting the Barkot in winters. Monsoon season is little difficult period to reach the spot because maximum roads get block due to landslides.
