Bailadila Mountains: A hills known as Bailadila are famous for rich place of raw iron. Around fourteen reserves are identified in this area in which just 3 are operational. The hills of Bailadila are turned into industrial site. 



Bodhghat Sath Dhar: Another wonder place famous for waterfall is available for you. This best Indian tourist place is formed by the grouping of 7 different parts of River Indravati. Dense and thick forest surrounded the area are able to give different feelings to visitors. Waterfall is 6 km far from Barsur Village. 



Barsur Village: A must visit village known as Barsur is popular for 147 shrines and ponds. However, you have to reach towards shores of River Indravati to attain the temples. According to sources the village was managed by rulers of Gangawanshi Kingdom in 840 AD. Village is holding best ancient temples of India such as Mama-Bhanjaa Temple, Battisa Temple and many more. 



Memory Pillars of Gamawada: if you are in the town then you must visit the place Memory Pillars of Gamawada. It is located at only gap of 14 km from central Dantewada. Gamawada is basically a small town and the pillars in area are built with rock hard stones. 



Mama-Bhanja Temple: the more impressive place of Dantewada is Mama-Bhanja shrine having idols of Lord Ganesh and Narsimha. Temple structure is similar to Dravidian style and it poses a height of 50+ feet. 



Attaining to Dantewada: 
If you are coming from Hyderabad then you have to cover the distance of 493 kms, though Kolkata is 1071 km far. 

By Road: Road is the easiest and best mode of transport to reach Dantewada district. The region is full of forests so state government is not taking any risk to damage the forest. Journey to this region will be always excited for the voyagers. Buses are easily available from various parts of the state Chhattisgarh. 

By Train: Dantewada station is connected through train from southern part of India. Frequent trains are available from Vishakhapatnam and charges for train are less as well. 

By Air: Dantewada is not having own airport but you can reach Rajahmundry as the city holding domestic airport and frequent flights are available for Rajahmundry. Dantewada is 216 km far from Rajahmundry. Other best airports to reach destination are Vishakhapatnam, HyderabadBangalore and some more.
