Sajan - Natural Beauty Spot of Maharashtra

Attraction of Sajan:
Mahalaxmi Temple: Initial place to visit in Sajan is MahaLaxmi Temple located at east direction on Dada Vaidhya Road of Panaji (One more attraction spot closer to Sajan). This shrine is devoted to Goddess Laxmi of Hindu community. Mata Laxmi is the Goddess of wealth and health. People believe Laxmi Mata is the personification of Goddess Adishakti.



Kohoj Hill Fort: Visit Kohoj Hill Fort as next tourist destination popular for historic sightseeing. You have to reach small dam area to attain the Fort because it is constructed over a dam. According to sources the fort is belonging to Bhoj Period of 16th century.



Peshwa Temple: one more worship place of Sajan is Peshwa Temple. This religious spot is listed in big attractions of town. You have to cover a short distance of 18 Kms from Sajan, though the place is closer to metro city Mumbai. Shrine is constructed on hillock so get ready for trekking as well. one mini-dam and dense forest is covering the area and making it more impressive for voyagers.



Palusa Falls: Waterfall known as Palusa is unique place located at 12 km distance from central part of Sajan City. The big part of this fall is the water flows for whole year so you can visit the spot at anytime.



The other two impressive spots of Sajan are Tiger Caves and Moho Khurd Dam. Both spots are special and with unique features so don’t miss any of them once you plan your trip to Sajan. Moho Khurd Dam is constructed on Moho River, though the size of dam is small so you can plan swimming at spot.

Attaining to Sajan:
If you are coming from Mumbai then you have to travel for 103 km distance for Sajan. However, if you start your trip from Kullu-Manali then cover the distance of 105 km. Pune is 219 km away, Hyderabad is 777 km far and Nagpur is 813 km distant from Sajan.

By Train: Closest railway station is Thane and frequent trains are available from Mumbai, Chennai, HyderabadPune, and many cities of India.

By Air: Mumbai International airport is available for abroad as well domestic users to reach Sajan easily. However, airport is 135 km far from destination, but services are available for Sajan from outer part of the airport. International airlines from Singapore, Colombo, Hong Kong and gulf countries are reaching Mumbai regularly. Local flights from almost every big cities are reaching to Mumbai at different intervals.

By Bus: Maharashtra State Transport is famous for their service and Sajan is properly connected to major cities of state by road. Government owned buses are running between Sajan and other cities so voyagers will not get any difficulty to reach the destination.
