Ghanerao

Rajasthan is the big attraction point for travelers in India. The reason behind is there are countless places in the state that are famous like maximum spots are popular for their historical monuments, holy beliefs and bravely battles during freedom fight. Today our target Indian tourist place is Ghanerao that is the small village of Desuri tehsil in Pali region, Rajasthan.


Ghanerao is established on Sadri-Desuri road. Frankly speaking there are limited spots in the town for visitors, though the nearby big tourist destinations made this place special tourism attraction. Kumbhalgarh fort and Ranakpur temples are closest point and you have to travel to Ghanerao if you want to reach any of the spot. If you plan to visit Kumbhalgarh then you can enjoy the real Wildlife Sanctuary Park located at this region. Ghanerao is having countless small and big Hindu temples so don’t forget to take blessings of Hindu god if you are going through this way. Nearly 11 Jain shrines are available in the town in which few are quite old. Muchhal Mahavir Temple, Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Charbhujaji and Murlidhar are some famous holy spots of the town. ‘Muth’ recognized as Giriji Ki Dhani is located at outer area of town. Average population of town is 7,650 as per census of 2001.


Attractions in Ghanerao:
Ghanerao Royal Castle: Rajasthan state is famous for monuments, places, manmade lakes and many other things. Ghanerao Royal castle is the palace famous in whole state for its architectural structure.


Muchhal Mahaveer Temple: This is a favorite temple for travelers having good idol of Jain Guru Mahaveer.


Gajanand Temple: Well-known temple of Goddesses Ridhi-Siddhi is listed as prime Hindu temple of the town. Lord Hanuman and Lord Bhairon Baba idols are also placed in the temple on other side.

Ghanerao Jungle Lodge: Accommodation is available at Jungle lodge of the city. However, it is also recognized as Bagha Ka Bagh. Rooms are accessible in the lodge for visitors. Their hospitality is similar to Rajasthan tradition.


Horse Safari: You love enjoy horse riding then you are at right place. Exciting horse safari tour is a nice feature of Ghanerao. It is the major method of sight-seeing in town. This safari was started in 1992.

How to reach Ghanerao?
By Train: Udaipur is closest railway station to reach destination. There is no own station of Ghanerao which means you have to user Udaipur station located at 76 km. Trains for Udaipur are available from Indore, Khajuraho, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and many other cities.

By Air: Domestic airport of Udaipur is available for users to reach the location through air. Flights for Udaipur are available from Delhi, Bangalore and some more cities.

By Road: Frequent bus services are accessible for Ghanerao from various parts of Rajasthan State.

Majuli - Largest River Island of India

A small island of Assam known as Majuli is our next Indian tourist place. The other name of this island town is Majoli popular as one of the largest river islands of India. Vaishno Devi
