Solang Valley: It’s around 14 kms away from Manali and near to Kullu Valley. Best place to skiing, if you are having interest in skiing you can visit to this beautiful place. Attaining to Manali:
If you are reaching to Manali from Shimla then you have to travel for 209 km distance, whereas Chandigarh is 305 km away, Delhi is 541 km away, Kolkata is 2006 km far and Bangalore is 2763 km away from Manali.

By Train: If you want to reach Manali by train then you have to attain to Joginder Nagar which is the nearest rail-head for Manali. Joginder nagar is only 50 kms away from the destination. It is the narrow gauge line, but the connectivity to big stations is possible. You can hire the taxi from Joginder Nagar that will charge around Rs 1000. The biggest railway station close to Manali is Chandigarh located at 310 km distance and Ambala located at 300 km distance. Trains for Manali are available from Kalka, DelhiMumbai, Barmer, KolkataShimla, Shri Ganganagar, Chennai, Pathankot, Ahmedabad, Bhatinda, Dauladhar, Jammu, and Rourkela, Tatanagar, Udhampur and many other cities.

By Air: Bhuntar is the domestic airport located at 50 km distance from Manali. Flights for Bhuntar are available from DelhiChandigarh and some more cities.


By Bus: Manali city is properly linked to various other tourist locations. The road transport of state is managed by Himachal government and some private as well as govt deluxe bus are available.
