Visiting various tourist spots of India is now possible with luxury train provided by Indian railways. This train is available with all facilities and tourist can visit numerous spots in just few weeks. The food and the accommodation are offered by the railways, though it covers the amount in ticket as well. Tourist has to buy the ticket in advance to avail all facilities.


The interested places covered by this train are Delhi (Day 01), Jaipur (Day 02), Sawai Madhopur/ Chittorgarh (Day 03), Udaipur (Day 04), Jaisalmer (Day 05) Jodhpur (day 6), Bharatpur/Agra (Day 7-8).


There are some more trains available with luxury services, but the most demanding train is palace on wheels. This train is capable to offer the all types of luxury services to their tourists. This north Indian tourist spot train is giving the experience of king’s life of Rajasthan. The services provided in the train are compared to international hotels.


Some major spots of this train are Jaipur (known as pink city), Jaisalmer (fort of famous kings), Jodhpur (the Indian border), Ramthambhor national park (full of national and international wild animals), Chittorgarh (famous fort) and some more places. The journey will end at Delhi (the capital of India).

The best feature of this train is their coaches are named with Udaipur, Kota, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Alwar, Bikaner, Sirohi, Bundi, Kishangarh, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Bharatpur and Dholpur.

  2. The coaches of this magnificent luxury train have a history behind. Initially used as a favourite medium of journey by the rulers of handsome states of Rajput Kings, the Nizam of Hyderabad and the British India’s Viceroy’s. This train will give all feelings of kings and Maharaja’s living standard. However, the train was disconnected after the independence of India in 1947. Later in 1981-82, because of efforts of the RTDC (Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation) the railways department decided to start an extraordinary heritage train for tourists.
