Ajaigarh - Historical City of Madhya Pradesh

The place you are describing is Ajaigarh, which was the capital of a princely state by the same name during the British Raj in India. Ajaigarh was founded in 1765 by Guman Singh, an Abundela Rajput and nephew of Raja Pahar of Jaitpur.
