Nagore



The small town Nagore is our next tourist destination. The town is located in Nagapattinam region of Tamil Nadu State, India. Attaining to this place allow voyagers to enjoy Karaikal, which is just 12 kms away and Nagapattinam that is only 5 kms distant. Dargah: the very old but renowned religious spot of Nagore is world famous. This is the Muslim shrine and a sacred pilgrimage location in town devoted to Sahib Abdul Qadir (full name Meeran Sahib Abdul Qadir Shahul Hamid Badshah). This pilgrimage spot is attracting 1000’s of devotees every year. The structural design of Dargah is impressive with dome arch and pretty minarets. Biggest tower of Dargah is known as Periya Minara having 131 feet height. Total 5 minarets with huge water tank (recognized as Peer Kulam) are best things to watch. People from different religions are visiting Dargah in large amount to take blessings of peer baba. Apart Nagore Dargah there are two more Muslim shrines located Silladi and Vanjur.

Beach: Nagore is located close to Bay of Bengal and travellers can enjoy the beach in the town. The wonderful sunset on the spot is best thing to enjoy. There are nearby gardens and parks where travellers can visit.

Travellers can have trains from Tiruchirapalli, Thanjavur, Chennai, Ernakulam, Karaikal, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore, Karaikal, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Mayiladuthurai, Mysore, Rameswaram, Tiruchendur, Tiruchy, Tirupati, Vailankanni, Varanasi, Goa and many more cities.

By Air: closest airport to reach Nagore is Tiruchirappali also known as Trichy located at 140 kms distance only. Chennai airport is big international airport linked to almost every abroad city. Taxi from outside the Trichy airport is available for Nagore city so no worries to attain the spot. Chennai airport is 300 kms away from Nagore.

By Bus: Tamil Nadu state transport is having buses for Nagore is from major cities of State. However, buses from Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are also available for Nagore. Frequent bus services are accessible from Trivandrum, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Chennai, Pondicherry, Trichy and Thanjavur.

Majuli - Largest River Island of India

A small island of Assam known as Majuli is our next Indian tourist place. The other name of this island town is Majoli popular as one of the largest river islands of India. Vaishno Devi

Temple is the world-famous holy place for Hindus. This temple is devoted to Maa Shakti, situated in the mounts of Jammu and Kashmir . Vaishno Devi Mata is also recognized as Mata Rani and Vaishnavi.
