Hyderabad, a city accessible by rail, air, and bus, has greatly benefited from the Durgam Cheruvu cable-suspension bridge, which was constructed to address the worsening traffic congestion between Jubilee Hills and Madhapur.

Initially, the plan called for 3-5 pillars to support the road, but environmental concerns led to the innovative design of a cable-suspension bridge with two prominent pillars supporting the cables. Construction began on March 9th, 2019, and despite delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was successfully completed in August, with an inauguration ceremony held on September 25th, 2020, attended by Telangana Minister K. T. Rama Rao and Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy. When visiting Hyderabad, be sure to include a visit to this remarkable bridge in your plans.
