Mysore is
the world-famous and 2nd largest city of Karnataka. This Indian

Attaining Mysore:
By Bus: the city is linked through NH
(national highway) 212 and frequent buses from diverse cities of India. The
inter-state highway 17 links the Mysore city to Bangalore, and the lane of this
highway is converted to four-lane from two lanes. KSRTC (Karnataka State Road
Transport Corporation) and few private agencies are also operating the buses to
reach Mysore.
By Rail: railway station of Mysore has
three broad gauge lines connecting the city to Hassan, Bangalore Chamaraja
Nagar and many big cities across the country. Shatabdi Express is the best
train to reach Mysore in lesser time. Train for Mysore is available from Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chennai and some more cities.
By Air: airport of Mysore was not in
use from last several years, though it is functional from October 2010.
Kingfisher Airlines is having daily flights to reach Bangalore, and some other
domestic flight companies are having frequent flights to Mysore.
