When we talk about the state Tripura we can split it in four regions:


Dhalai Region: 

It’s a youngest region of Tripura state covered with hills and dense forests. Attractive forests, implausible natural attraction and notable hill ranges are special spots of Dhalai region. You can visit to Longtharai Mandir popular that is full of natural beauty. Kamaleswari temple is the next spot to attain in Dhalai Region. Hill spots of this region are Longtharai, Atharamura and Sakhantang. If you like swimming than reach Manu River, Dhalai River and Khowai River that are full of water flow throughout the year.




North Tripura Region: 

Attractions in north region are Unakoti Laxmi-Narayan Temple, Jampui hill, Sateramia Hawar and Kailashahar Rajbari. View of big hills from Jampui and sakan is different experience. Jampui range is the highest peak of Tripura. Rivers in this region are Juri and Longai. 



South Tripura Region: 

Tripura is full of hills and temples so the south region is also having the high ranges and big ever flowing rivers. Dumbur is the first place of south Tripura to visit. Dumbur Lake is charming spot so don’t miss it too. Shrines such as Sundari and Bhuvaneswari are available to visit. Peak of god hill “Deotamura” is located in this region. 


West Tripura Region: 

Agartala is the district headquarters of Tripura located in Western part of state. Agartala is the capital of Tripura known for favorite history admires. Popular Ujjayanta Palace comes under this region and Kunjaban Palace is next spot to attain in similar region. Malancha Niwas is hot location made of mud in year 1919. Famous poet Tagore spends his valuable time at this location. “Shipahijala” a wild life park is favorite tourist destination of west region. Twijlikma is the lake in Melaghar area that is also the best spot to attain.



How to reach Tripura?


By Train: Guwahati is the big station close to Tripura region. However, you have to reach Agartala first to attain different parts of the state. Trains for Agartala are available from different parts but trains for Guwahati are available from almost every corner of the nation. Kumarghat is another big station located at 140 km distance Agartala.

By Road: If you have planned a road trip then your journey will be full of excitement as the route to Agartala from Guwahati is completely green. You will enjoy the valleys and hill roads to reach your destination. Direct buses for Guwahati are available from many big cities of India. You will get frequent buses from Guwahati to Agartala as well. 

By Air: Guwahati is the domestic airport connected to KolkataDelhi and many big cities of India. However, Agartala domestic airport is also available having flights from Kolkata and Guwahati
