Gandhidham

“Gandhidham” an Indian tourist place is one of the best destinations of India. It is a city located in Gujarat State, India popular for various tourist attractions. Akshardham: A well known Jain temple Akshardham is best place to visit in town. The other name of Akshardham is Swaminarayan Temple located in Gandhinagar. However, the town Gandhinagar is quite far from Gandhidham but you can get the bus or private vehicle to reach the spot. The temple is dedicated to Saint Swaminarayan who was the founder of Swaminarayan Sanstha. You will find the Akshardham temple at many other cities of nation, though Gujarat is the state housing biggest Akshardham temple of India.


SCPLDT (Shri Chandra Prabh Labdhi Dham Teerth): A holy place reachable through NH (National Highway) 8A is other spot comes under Kutch region of Gujarat. It is kind of trust managed by SCPLDT (Shri Chandra Prabh Labdhi Dham Teerth) Trust.


Purneshwar Temple: A spot known as Purneshwar Temple is next destination for voyagers. This temple is located close to Gandhidham and Bhuj city. Temple is built between 9th to 10th centuries famous for ancient sculptures and paintings.


Modhera: A worship place known as Modhera is next destination of Gandhidham. It was built in Solanki structural design in 11th century. This place is famous for Sun Temple constructed in 1026. An idol of God Surya is designed amazingly and a deep stone tank is popular for holy dips. Place is covered with carvings of Hindu gods, goddesses, beasts, flowers and birds.


Gandhi Samadhi: Gandhi Samadhi is another location where travelers much reach. It’s a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.

NH (national highway) 8A connects the Gandhidham to Mumbai, Delhi and some big cities of India. Bhuj is having domestic airport so travelers can reach their destination through Bhuj.
