Kali Mandir: The big temple of Sevokeshwari Kali Mata is first place to visit. The shrine is positioned in Binnaguri town closer to Coronation Bridge constructed on River Teesta. However, travelers have to travel for 37 kms from central Bagdogra to reach the temple. Idol of goddess Kali is major attraction of shrine as the idol is adorned with jewels.


ISKCON Temple: Next place to visit is ISCKON temple placed in Siliguri town. This very popular spot is most visited location of the town Siliguri. Idol of lord Krishna and Goddess Radha are amazingly structured.


Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary: MWS (Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary) park is positioned between Mahananda River and Teesta River at only gap of 25 kms from central Bagdogra. The area is full of dense forest and foot hills of ranges of Himalayas are major attraction of spot. Countless wild animals can be seen in the park and some special species plants are also visible in the area.


The Science City: A kind of institution known as Science City is another spot to visit for voyagers. The place is also recognized as NBSC (North Bengal Science Centre) located in Matigara, a closer town to Siliguri. Distance between Bagdogra and NBSC is only 20 km.


Coronation Bridge: A wonder place identified as Coronation Bridge is another Indian tourist place situated at 37 km gap from original destination. Kalimpong and Gangtok are closer to bridge so you can enjoy multiple located once you reach the bridge area. NH 31 is crossing the area of bridge to connect Kalimpong to Gangtok.


Some more impressive spots of Bagdogra are Surya Sen Park (located in Mahakal Pally, Siliguri), Salugara Monastery, Madhuban Park, Savin Kingdom and Umrao Singh Boat Club.

If you have decided to reach the destination from Pune then you have to cover the distance of 2167 kms. However, Kochi/Cochin is 3045 km far, Guwahati is 446 km distant and Ranchi is 616 km.

By Road: State buses of West Bengal are having connectivity for Bagdogra. Voyagers can hire the bus from SiliguriGangtokDarjeeling and many other cities of India. This Indian tourist place is easily reachable and people can hire the private taxi or bus from outer area of the bus stand.

By Train: closest railway station is New Jalpaiguri and private taxies from external part of station are available for Bagdogra. Trains from DelhiKolkataChennai and many big cities are available for destination.

By Air: Bagdogra airport is connected to northern parts of India. The recent achievement of town is the domestic airport is converted into international airport. Domestic flights are available from ChennaiDelhiMumbaiKolkataBangalore and Guwahati. Abroad flights are available from Paro and Bangkok.
