Another hill station added to the list of Indian tourist place is Malshej Ghat located at height of 700 meters from sea level. This fascinating holiday spot refreshes the mode of voyagers. Malshej Falls: there are many cascading waterfalls in Malshej Ghat so we can say the place is blessed with countless beauty and finery spots. The big and small waterfalls of Malshej Ghat become very special in monsoon. Some waterfalls even fall down on main road during the monsoon and the scenery becomes best among the world.

Trekking: Adventure lovers will get plenty of trekking spots in Malshej Ghat. The high hills and heroic forts in deep forest is perfect place to visit particularly for adventure lovers.

Attaining to Malshej Ghat:
Mumbai is 122 kms away from Ghat which means travelers can easily attain to Mumbai to reach the destination. Next close big station is Pune at only 124 kms. however, Ahemdabad is 621 kms away and Hyderabad is 627 kms away.

By Train: two railway stations Kalyan and Kaljat are nearby stations of Malshej. Trains from Mumbai and some more cities are available for these two stations. Trains for Kalyan is available from Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, and few more cities.

By Air: closest air hub is CSIA (Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport) located at Mumbai. The only distance of 150 kms allow easy reach to voyagers.

By Bus: A Maharashtra roadway is having direct buses for Malshej Ghat from various parts of the state though other cities are also having tourism buses for Malshej Ghat.

Vaishno Devi
